Gee Vaucher Prints with Buddha Cat Press

We are pleased to announce a new collaboration with Gee Vaucher and Buddha Cat Press! Here is a sneak preview of the print which will be released at the debut of the Evolution Revolution Exhibition!


Here is a preview of the prints.... you can check it out in person at the Evolution Revolution Exhibition at the Santa Monica Art Studios this weekend! Her work with Anarcho-punk band Crass was seminal to the 'protest art' of the 1980s. Vaucher has always seen her work as a tool for social change. In her collection of early works (1960-1997) Crass Art and Other Pre Post-Modernist MonstersDagenham, East London. Vaucher is shown to use paints and collages to show her strong anarcho-pacifist, and feminist views through her artwork. Vaucher also uses thesurrealist method to express her aforementioned ideals and styles.
In Vaucher's second book, Animal Rites, she gives a commentary on the relationship between animals and humans, centered on the quote "All humans are animal, but some animals are more human than others."
